Non-package activities
In addition to the excursions included in our package, we also offer off-package activities and themed stays that are regularly requested, such as scuba diving, surfing or fly-fishing. Depending on your wishes, we can organize stays focused on a specific activity, such as :
* Scuba diving : Tikehau is one of Polynesia's most renowned scuba diving destinations. Guests at the motu will be able to contact a service provider located in the village, and with our new comfortable and faster boat, in agreement with the diving center, it will be possible to take divers directly to the dive spot at the pass, free of charge. This will make transfer times easier and shorter, while ensuring comfortable, privatized boat travel.
Fafarua Private Island becomes a diving destination in its own rightThe island itself is privatized, offering comfortable transfers and accommodation.
* Surfing : the TIKEHAU pass wave is renowned among experienced surfers depending on swell conditions at certain times of the year. Our boat can be made available to bring surfers who come with their own equipment to ride this superb wave.
* Fly Fishing TIKEHAU: the TIKEHAU lagoon is rich in blue jacks (Paihere), not to mention the occasional Barracuda, which frequent the edges of the lagoon, and has ideal seashores for fly-fishing.
The Tikehau lagoon is also rich in Bonefish (Io'io in Tahitian), but they rarely frequent the flats and are difficult to encounter.
Other types of fishing: trolling, in the lagoon or close to the reef, or other types of fishing are possible, but we do not offer deep-sea fishing and ask those interested to bring their own equipment.
* The "champagne sunset" excusion: Weather permitting, we'll be delighted to take you on a boat trip along the shores of the atoll near the motu to watch the fabulous spectacle of sunsets flooding the horizon, sky and coconut-planted motus with color, comfortably seated on our catamaran while enjoying a glass of champagne.
Please do not hesitate to contact us to discuss the organization and conditions of these activities.
