The Gygis alba, also known as the "White Gygis" or "White Tern", is a species of seabird belonging to the Laridae family.
It's a medium-sized seabird, around 30 cm long. Its plumage is predominantly white, hence its common name. Its wings are long and pointed, enabling it to fly nimbly over the oceans. White noddis have short, webbed legs for easy swimming and landing on the water.
